WHO WE ARE

The association "Waraku Europa" was borne, according to the laws in force in Italy, to promote and spread the knowledge and the personal and collective practice of Waraku according to the teaching of master Hiramasa Maeda Sensei.

In short, the aim of the association is to promote conferences, courses, seminars, meetings, publications, exhibitions, events, meetings, travels, workshops, study groups and experimentation, to be undertaken by the members in compliance with the purposes and indications of the association. The governing council - that for the first two years will be composed of the founder members, who can supplement it by co-optation within six months – has as its main task to take care of the coordination of the activities of the association fostering communication between the members. Master Hiramasa Maeda Sensei, lifelong Honorary Member, will exercise, directly or through delegation to one or more of the instructors of the highest level belonging to the association, the functions concerning the assigning of degrees that prove the level of experience of students and instructors, the designation of instructors and assistant instructors, the foundation of new locations (Dojo) for the practice of Waraku, the approval of new schools for the teaching of Waraku and the approval of advertisements relating to events organized for the practice and the teaching of Waraku.

Hoping to meet at the first assembly of the association, to be held during the forthcoming seminar of master Maeda in Europe, please let us know about your ideas and proposals for Waraku events that you would like to organize at local or European level, so as to draw a schedule that may enable all who may be interested to take advantage of every opportunity to get to know and to practice Waraku together.
